Scott Tuma's Not For Nobody is an exquisite solo album from a former member of Souled American. Fragile vocals, acoustic guitars, and pretty percussion interludes form the basis of this slow and gentle record with a crystalline sound. A particular standout are the Scottish-inflected pentatonic tones of the album's longest song, "Rakes". A must for fans of Souled American - of course - and also for fans of pretty delicate music a la Sigur Ros, Mùm, Es and other proponents of the Icelandic/Finniish 'glacial sound', methinks In Gowan Ring fans pining for a new B'eirth album would also appreciate this.
