Fun little dose of kitschy German pop, psyche, soul, mod, soundtrack music and more spanning the years 67-74. Highlights include German guys singing trying to sing like James Brown in German, a noble big bandy attempt at the Zep classic "Whole Lotta Love" and tons of funk, fuzz, shimmy and shake. Also -- tons of great organs and electric piano playing. Who knew that Germans could be so funky fun? And this is Volume 3 -- clearly I've been missing out on a good thing.... Favorite track and song title? Ingfried Hoffman's "Stroke It". Saxophone razzle-dazzle, funky bass, funky beats and insanely propulsive organ stabs that will get you up on the dancefloor in no time....
