Okay I have no idea what to make of this. There is a total death metal vibe to it, with the growling spitting, despicable vocals, but the music totally makes me thing or like a mix of hard and prog rock, and it times it breaks into absolutely lame prog. Then absolutely bad almost hair metal solos. I don’t know if even Ihsan knows what he is trying to do. God now what is it doing, it’s Metallica, like Enter Sandman, era. Like is that even good I don’t know what to think. Like it is completely corny. But then he’s gonna start screaming soon. Is this good. Is it progressive. Is it just poorly done and confused. I don’t know.
I think I ‘m gonna have to go with the negative on this one as, the album case is designed to tell me what a great musician he is. I mean to me that just seems to stink of desperation, desperation for someone to tell him how good he is. Christ now it’s not even metallica anymore, it’s like Michael Bolton crooning. Yeah that just did it for me. I think that killed any interest, oh wait now he’s growling again. I think I need a beer. Is this the metal version of break core? It’s totally schizophrenic. I would have to say I am not qualified to pass judgement on this. Which must mean something, but I don’t know what. It scares me a little.
