Not too much to say about this album – it is what it is. Very good electronica, intricately put together, sweet gurgly sounds, gentle beats and unobtrusive relaxing textures.
The cover artwork, created by Robot and Proud’s Shaw-Han Liem pretty much says it all – a cute penguin sits in pleasant contemplation as bubbly spirals whirl and eddy off into the distance. If your ears need a break from the abrasive world outside, to be tickled and delighted, relaxed and rejuvenated, I Am Robot and Proud is your man, The Electricity in Your House Wants to Sing is your album.
