Under Bent Limb Trees

Hush Arbors

Digitalis, 2007

Beautiful, placid music that would sit comfortably on your shelf of records next to In Gowan Ring, Jewelled Antler and Six Organs Of Admittance. Wispy, droney, forest-loving,  ethereal psychee folk music. This is a double CD reissue of Under Bent Limb Trees. The first CD contains the original album and the second contains outtakes and other unreleased material. Hush Arbor's Keith Wood has a haunting falsetto and uses a variety of unusual intstruments - including bowed dulcimer and singing bowl, along with nature field recordings to conjure his magical, mystical forest-folk sound. Required listening.
