Classic indiepop from Australia, Summer Cats are boppy and hoppy and fun and you can’t help but love them. Two girls and three guys, the band mixes jangly acoustic guitars, drums and happy beats with lots of harmonies to create a pretty ideal pop formula. Nothing revolutionary here, but hey, this is twee - we’re just looking for a quick sugar fix and they’ve got that to the max so Summer Cats are just great in my book. You can’t help but dancing.
