Minus the Bear is a Seattle rock band with six releases to their credit. The band features ex-members of Botch, Kill Sadie, and Sharks Keep Moving. Their sound involves a mix of Pele-esque guitar-taps and electronics, with a Don Caballero-esque sophistication of composition. Minus the Bear is known for their amusing song titles, with examples including "Hey, Wanna Throw Up? Get Me Naked," "Get Me Naked 2: Electric Boogaloo," "Monkey!!! Knife!!! Fight!!!," and "Lemurs, Man, Lemurs." Despite this light humor, the band's music is quite technical.
